Occupational Safety Officer

Occupational Safety Officer

In a sector like tourism, where the visitor’s experience depends entirely on the safety and reliability of the hospitality environment, the role of the Occupational Safety Officer is crucial. Through continuous monitoring, prevention, and improvement, each facility is ensured to operate in accordance with the highest health and safety standards.

The Occupational Safety Officer will supervise working conditions at all facilities and in particular shall:

  • checks the safety of the premises and informs Management
  • regularly inspect working stations
  • propose and oversee the use of personal protective equipment
  • evaluates existing safety measures
  • proposes corrective measures to eliminate accidents and guides the requirements and safety inspection criteria (Accommodation Safety Audits) set by Tour Operators.

With the support of ErgoProlipsis, the presence of the Occupational Safety Officer takes on a truly strategic role within the business — contributing to risk prevention, quality assurance, and the strengthening of trust among both guests and employees.
