Some races go beyond speed, technique and rankings. They become personal journeys. Life journeys. Moments that bring together people, generations, dreams and values.
This was the kind of journey experienced by Akis Abastado and Arion Abastado, who took part in this year’s Historic Acropolis Rally 2026 with the iconic 1992 Toyota Celica STi, competing in a demanding three-day race that tested the focus, consistency and endurance of all crews.
The father-and-son crew achieved 2nd place overall in the Regularity classification, confirming that success is not only the result of experience and preparation, but also of deep commitment to a common objective.
For Akis, participating in the Historic Acropolis Rally was the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. Sharing this experience from the driver’s seat with his son, Arion, as co-driver, made the moment even more meaningful. Because some moments are not recorded only in the results of a race. They are recorded in memory, in relationships, in shared effort.
ErgoProlipsis was pleased and honoured to support this effort as a sponsor, standing alongside people who pursue their personal goals with consistency, passion and belief.
Supporting initiatives like this reflects the way we understand effort: as a continuous path of preparation, responsibility and perseverance. In motorsport, as in every demanding field of activity, success is never accidental. It is built through prevention, discipline, strong collaboration and trust.
Warm congratulations to Akis Abastado and Arion Abastado for their outstanding performance, but above all for the example they set: when a dream is shared, it gains even greater strength.
For ErgoProlipsis, it was an honour to be part of this journey.
