Double Success at the Historic Rally of Crete 2026

The team proudly supported by ErgoProlipsis celebrated another outstanding achievement at the Historic Rally of Crete (Regularity), held on 27–28 June 2026.

This time, Akis Abastado travelled to our home base in Crete, where he was joined by a very special co-driver. Sitting in the navigator’s seat of the beautiful white 1992 Toyota Celica STi was ErgoProlipsis General Manager, Giannis Aspirtakis.

The new rally duo demonstrated outstanding chemistry throughout the event, showcasing the teamwork, experience, and meticulous preparation required to excel in a high-level Regularity rally.

Their efforts were rewarded with two remarkable distinctions:

  • 2nd Place Overall in the Regularity Classification
  • 1st Place in Class J2 (vehicles up to 1992)

This achievement was particularly meaningful as it was accomplished in Crete, our home region, making it an especially memorable “home” success and marking the beginning of what promises to be a highly successful motorsport partnership.

At ErgoProlipsis, we believe that success is built on consistency, teamwork, and dedication to a common goal. These are the same values that define both historic motorsport and our professional philosophy, guiding everything we do.

We warmly congratulate Akis Abastado and Giannis Aspirtakis on their exceptional performance and this remarkable achievement. They have made us truly proud and have given us every reason to look forward with great optimism to what lies ahead.

ErgoProlipsis will continue to support individuals who stand out for their passion, responsibility, and relentless pursuit of excellence, backing initiatives that inspire others, promote collaboration and continuous improvement, and reinforce the principles of safe driving.
